Comet Hyakutake March 24, 1996, 2:45 - 3:20 UT, seeing 5, transparency 4.9. Field of view: 2.75 degrees.

Astro-Physics 4.7" (120mm) f/8.5 (Star 12ED) refractor on alt-az mount. Magnification 18x.

Coma very large and bluish-green in color. Pseudo-nucleus of comet was bar shaped and whitish-yellow in color. Tail very prominent and appeared multi-threaded.
